Our Wines

The wines are a natural expression of our site and reflect the pristine surroundings and cool maritime climate displaying crisp fresh acidity and well defined fruit flavours.

We are able to selectively harvest different clones at optimal flavour ripeness and acidity. Low yields and long, slow ripening conditions result in our wines displaying distinctive varietal intensity, elevated fruit spice and mineral complexity.

Pale yellow straw colour. The nose displays classic lime aromas with a floral lift. The lime juice characters follow through to the fresh crisp palate with lemon pith notes and flinty acidity. Dry and vibrant with lingering freshness and purity of fruit.

“A highly perfumed bouquet, the palate with clear-cut line and length, backed up by good texture.”

2009 Riesling

                                                                   2012 Sauvignon Blanc

Ripe fruit flavours without losing the lively zing and zest. Inviting ripe aromas of tropical fruits and banana, against a firm, fresh background of green bean and apple. The rich mouthfilling tropical fruit flavours reflect the warm 2012 Tasmanian season. Very soft in the mouth with the riotous flavours balanced by clean, crisp acidity, and a lingering finish.

A great summer wine, either as an aperitif or with light seafoods and salads.

"Highly recommended

Deep crimson colour. A fresh and fragrant pinot with spicy cherry and plum aromas. An earthy underlay and a touch of cedary oak. In the mouth it is satin smooth with rich cherry/berry flavours, soft tannins and a crisp acid finish. A delicate and elegant syle with impeccable structure, balance and length. Drinking beautifully now and will develop further in the next year or two.
